We are an independent, owner-managed boutique consultancy based in Munich and Düsseldorf. Our team currently consists of ~15 experienced strategy consultants. Our work focuses on the optimization of structures and processes as well as the development and implementation of market-oriented strategies. We help corporate clients become better, faster, and more profitable. We support financial investors (e.g. Adelis, DPE, Gimv, LEA Partners, Ufenau Capital) and strategic buyers (e.g. Gruma, Messe Nürnberg, Rehau New Ventures) in identifying and realizing attractive investment opportunities (e.g. acquisition search, due diligence, value creation). We are one of the leading strategy consultancies in the assessment and evaluation of “asset-light” business models. Our industry focus lies primarily in the sectors of business services, construction, software & IT-services, as well as healthcare & consumers. We support our clients in international projects around the world – with in-depth market knowledge, intercultural competence, and global experience (e.g. projects in Benelux, Scandinavia, UK, USA, Australia, New Zealand).
We are known for our authentic presence and “honest advice.” As an owner-managed consultancy, we think and act entrepreneurially in the best interest of our clients. Markus Knarr is Managing Partner. For over 20 years, he has been advising corporate clients on strategic matters and supporting financial investors with strategic investment decisions, having been involved in more
than 350 engagements. He gained consulting experience at firms such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (Frankfurt, Munich, London), Fortlane Partners (Munich), AMR International (Frankfurt, London), and Rödl & Partner (Nuremberg). He has led projects in the USA, the UK, and Eastern Europe.
In addition, he gathered professional experience at companies such as adidas (Herzogenaurach), Allianz (Munich), and Nordex (Hamburg).
He studied Business Administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and at the renowned School of Management at the University of Bath in England. He holds a degree in Business Administration (Dipl.-Kfm., Univ.).
In his free time, he enjoys swimming, hiking, skiing, and attending sports and music events. He is married and has two children.
